This ring centres on golden-threaded rutilated quartz, held in a warm gold bezel against oxidised sterling silver. Needle-fine rutile lines remain visible within the stone, catching light in a way that feels natural rather than manufactured.

Rutilated quartz forms over long periods of time. As the quartz crystal grows, rutile crystals become trapped inside it, recording moments of interruption, pressure, and change during its formation. Those fine golden needles are not added later — they are evidence of what happened while the stone was becoming itself.

The contrast of dark silver, warm gold, and internal structure gives the piece its quiet tension. Part of the Astralis Collection, it is defined by what is kept, not corrected.
